Inclusion of nuclear energy in energy policy of Department of Defense and related matters

(a) Inclusion in energy policy

Section 2911 of title 10, United States Code, is amended—

(1)

in subsections (b) and (e), by inserting or nuclear energy after renewable energy sources each place it appears;

(2)

in subsection (g)—

(A)

in the heading, by inserting and nuclear energy after renewable energy ;

(B)

in paragraphs (1) and (2), by inserting or nuclear energy after renewable energy sources each place it appears; and

(C)

in paragraph (2), by inserting and nuclear energy after the use of renewable energy ; and

(3)

in subsection (h)(2)—

(A)

in subparagraph (C), by inserting or nuclear energy after renewable energy source, other than solar energy, ; and

(B)

in subparagraph (D), by inserting or nuclear energy after a renewable energy source .

(b) Inclusion in matters relating to use of energy for facilities

Section 2915 of title 10, United States Code, is amended—

(1)

in the section heading, by striking renewable forms of energy and inserting nuclear energy, renewable forms of energy, ;

(2)

by striking solar energy or other renewable forms of energy each place it appears and inserting nuclear energy, or solar energy or other renewable forms of energy, ; and

(3)

in subsection (b), by striking a renewable form of energy and inserting such a form of energy .
