Extended deadline to reassess necessity of use of immediate response authority of Department of Defense

issue an updated version of Department of Defense Instruction 3025.18, titled Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) with a revision to require that each reassessment as to whether there remains a necessity for the use of an immediate response authority pursuant to a request for assistance is completed by not later than one week after the date on which such request is received; and

submit to the congressional defense committees a notification of such issuance.
