(a) Extension of transition limitations and reporting requirements
Section 2276a(e) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking fiscal years 2024, 2025, and 2026 and inserting fiscal years 2024 through 2031 .
(b) Notification of use of alternative launch procurement
Section 1601(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( Public Law 117–81 ; 10 U.S.C. 2276 note) is amended—
(1)
by striking the Secretary of Defense both places it appears and inserting the portfolio acquisition executive of the Space Force ;
(2)
by striking the Director of the National Reconnaissance Office and inserting the Director of the Office of Space Launch of the National Reconnaissance Office ; and
(3)
by striking the Director of National Intelligence and inserting the Director of the Office of Space Launch .
